Valve Boxes
Valve boxes protect solenoid valves, manifolds and other underground irrigation components while keeping them accessible for adjustment, inspection and repair. The lid shields connections from soil, stones and animals and helps conceal the system in the lawn. Choose a size based on the number of valves and fittings inside; a box that is too small makes maintenance difficult, so allow extra space. Select a model suited to the expected surface load and installation conditions. A properly installed valve box makes long-term maintenance easier.
