Rotary Nozzles
Rotary nozzles distribute water through several thin rotating streams that move slowly across the irrigation area. This provides even coverage, while the lower application rate gives soil time to absorb water and reduces runoff—especially on slopes and heavier soils. They fit spray sprinkler bodies and are often used to replace standard spray nozzles for more water-efficient irrigation. Check the throw radius, arc, operating pressure and compatibility with the sprinkler body. Do not mix nozzles with different application rates in the same zone.
