Battery-Powered Controllers
Battery-powered controllers do not require a mains connection, making them suitable for remote areas, flower beds, terraces and gardens without electricity. They run irrigation according to a programmed schedule and are used with solenoid valves rated for 9 V; check compatibility before buying. They usually offer fewer zones and simpler functions than mains-powered controllers, but are easy to install and need no mains wiring. Monitor battery status and replace batteries in time to prevent interruptions. They are suitable for small sites and drip irrigation.
